Treatments Offered

Crooked and crowded teeth are hard to clean and maintain—resulting in tooth decay, loss and/or gum disease. Improper alignment also causes abnormal wear of tooth surfaces, inefficient chewing function, stress on gum tissue and the bone that supports the teeth or misalignment of the jaw joints—leading to chronic headaches and face or neck pain. In addition to general health and well being, straight teeth have a positive impact on your self image. And, how you feel about yourself and your appearance affects how other people feel about you.

Below is a list of the many orthodontic options we have to offer:

  • Traditional metal braces
  • Clear Aligners for more discreet treatment that can be removed when needed
  • Damon® sliding brackets for quicker results and less time spent at our office
  • Insignia® robotically designed custom braces
  • Our Standpoint on Invisalign®

As of January 1, 2010, our office will no longer offer Invisalign as a treatment option. Align Technology, the producers of the Invisalign system, has modified its qualification requirements for use of the product; as a result of these new standards imposed by the company, many orthodontists like myself are being de-certified as providers. The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) has been in discussions with Align Technology about its new, seemingly more restrictive policies, but no action has been taken as of yet. Until this issue is resolved, we will not be offering the Invisalign product at our offices. Rest assured, however, we offer many alternatives to the Invisalign treatment.
