Akron Children’s Hospital
We have recently formed a partnership with Dr. Jeffrey Hord, director of childhood cancer, at Akron Children’s Hospital. Dr. Scott and his staff will be working with Dr. Hord to provide much needed orthodontic treatment to patients in need—at no charge.
The Choffin School of Accredited Dental Assisting
Our practice was selected by Youngstown’s Choffin School of Accredited Dental Assisting to serve as an extern site for students to train for their certification. Starting in January, and continuing through the month of May, our office in Warren serves as a training site for a number of students; each receives hands-on experience under the watchful eye of Dr. Scott and our team of treatment coordinators.
The Hudson Newcomers Club
We donated a basket, including a coupon for 10 percent off braces to the Hudson Newcomers Club. The basket, along with other items donated by Hudson based companies, was used to raise money for the schools.
Breast Cancer Three Day Walk
We’re a proud sponsor of breast cancer awareness (and ongoing research). Last year, we participated in the 3-day walk in Hudson and donated our “braces” basket with coupon for 15 percent off orthodontic treatment. The winner was Kelly Mintz (pictured)!
The Kent Aviation Heritage Fair
Congratulations to Joe Lally and family—winner of our “braces” basket at the Kent Aviation Heritage Fair at the Kent State Airport! The event was sponsored by the Stow Chamber of Commerce.
